Obviously, they did not. Corruption in Jonathan’s government was an international fact known everywhere. Thus, they were not very happy with that government because of how corruption was so rife at every level such that everybody in the government was involved in it and it brought down the image of the country totally.

I don’t think he saw it as a wrongdoing; that is my impression. A man who could say stealing is not corruption just shows you he didn’t even understand what corruption is. He didn’t seem to realise that stealing is equally a crime. It is as if to say, ‘He merely stole, so we should leave him alone and not bother about that’. There is a certain lack of awareness of the gravity of corruption and its associated concept — a combination of ignorance and a certain, very dangerous innocence, I would say. If you don’t know anything is wrong at that stage and you’re head of a country in which a state is controlling hundreds of billions, meanwhile everybody is helping himself; it is very dangerous for the country.

Goodluck Jonathan did not know that many things in his life were wrongdoing.

He did not know marrying Patience was wrong.

He did not know not putting drinking water in his home town was wrong.

He did not know that making FFK anything in his Government was wrong.

He did not know the world record looting/corruption in his Government was wrong.

But with our Votes, we reminded him he was wrong.

I wonder about some of these Nigeran Prof. I watch the media chat where my former President J. mentioned about thief/corruption, he didn't support it; rather he only explained the differece and quoted what a former CJN said.

This is just one of the prof whom his students may not have benefitted from, because propaganda must have lead him out of what his students Would have expected from him(knowledge)

Jonathan was a president that did not even understand what morality means.

He had the audacity to re-appoint Obanikoro as a minister despite audio evidence of his abuse of office as deputy minister of defence with his misuse of the military in the Ekiti election.

When asked by a foreign journalist why the federal government was yet to investigate the circumstances of that audio recording, Jonathan said "I cannot investigate what is not real"

That's the same audio recording that had already been attested to by 2 of the characters in the recording.

That Jonathan would even deliberately seek out for men that already had corruption related cases in court (Fani-Kayode) is enough to prove to any doubter that the clown was devoid of morality.

If we are really sincere with ourselves we should endeavor to always call a spade a spade. If a rich man steals our money, we will say he is corrupt instead of calling him a thief which he is and should be prosecuted as such. In terms of corruption, there are many facets and acts that can be ascribed to it; the acts of nepotism, contracts inflation, selective vindictism, etc. Any sincere mind knows Gej was right and was only mischievously misquoted by the likes of Sagay and the opposition for political purposes.

Am not convinced by your explanation. But to convince me better,can you explain the yardstick behind Jonathan's pardon of Diepreye Alamiesegha (A former governor convincted of stealing public funds).

Human and corruption is just a replica of Yam and Goat philosophy. So it is just a normal thing- so our former president thought.
