yes please. A non Muslim can sit or lie on the mat.

This emphasises tolerance in islam. The prophet s.a.w was said to have accomodated some christians in his mosque and he even let them pray. He was said to have excused a bedouin who urinated in his mosque. etc. so letting a non muslim use your stuff, is a show of tolerance which inshaaAllah May, endear hearts to islam
