Help! MY Lenovo A319 Fell Into Water. by Eberex(m): 9:26am On Sep 14, 2015
i tried placing my Lenovo A319 on the wash hand basin, but it slipped and entered into a bowl of water. instantly i removed and wiped it. It was still on for a while, can't really say how long, until i noticed it wasn't. I didnt try to switch it on, instead i removed the battery and the sim cards and lay them on the couch under the fan.

Now what next? what should i do? Anyone out there?

Wait for it to dry up before attempting to put it on back. That would do the trick for now. Don't attempt to put it on I repeat. By the way op I would like to know how long you have been using the phone and if you would recommend it for me because I am on the verge of buying it

You should have dipped it in a bowl or bag of rice for two days or so. It work wonders, so I heard.

It keeps the phone warm and helps retained water on the phone drained out.

You should have put it in a a bag or bowl of rice for some hours..... the rice actually drains the water droplets retained in the device.....i have actually experienced this with my younger sister's lumia 1520 spartphone sometime last year. Bro, the phone had a major dip in a bucket of water for maybe 15mins or so. she dipped it in a bag of rice for maybe 4 or 5hrs and the phone has been 100% functional to this day.
