Let Dog be X, cat be Y and rabbiit Z.
Y + Z = 10kg.........equation 1
X + Z = 20kg.........equation 2
X + Y = 24kg.........equation 3
Add up equations 1 and 2
Y + Z + X +Z = 10kg + 20kg
Y + X + 2Z = 30kg.........equation 4
Now, substitute equation 3 into 4 where X + Y = 24
24 + 2Z = 30
2Z= 30 - 24 = 6
If 2Z = 6, then Z = 3
Now substitute 3 for Z in equations 1 and 2 respectively
Y becomes 7 and X becomes 17
Thus, X + Y + Z = 3 + 7 + 17 = 27

Just form d 4 eqtns relating their weights and substitute to get individual weights. Add the 3 weights to get the ans.
