If indeed the VP is innocent as been proclaim by many people, why is he trying to hide under the constitutional immunity?  I think its time the national assembly save Nigeria from corrupt leaders like ATIKU,FAYOSE, ALAM and IBB by removing this clause.

i agree with you, though i will prefer the National Assembly to impeach both Obj and Atiku, so that Nnamani takes over, with Masari as deputy, to conduct the 2007 elections, that would be the best thing to happen to Nigeria, OR WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Well I dont know this two guys background, can they lead Nigeria with out the military overthrowing that is another question that we need to be asking?

Atiku should be impeached. His dubious presidential ambition should be put to a stop once and for all. As for OBJ, impeaching him now is the last thing our fragile democracy needs. We do not need that kind of Chaos at this time. He will not be president past May 2007. That much is certain. After then, he can be brought to justice.

That is a much smarter approach to this issue. OBJ is not the concern at this time. It's the likes of Atiku and IBB with their evil ambitions that is cause for concern.

Atiku doesnt need to go to courts it is an abuse of court process, police cant arrest him while hes still the VP, except he is impeached, I felt so sorry for Atiku more for OBJ, becuase whatever you do to someone will be done back to you. Let them follow due process of the law of the land. Atiku wont be so foolish to resign he has to follow the rule of the game to the letter otherwise so sorry for him, you dont fight from outside, if he resigned then he lost out. Both of them should be impeached but I know the NASS wont do that, instead they are out to get their campaign fund from the crisis. May we help ourselves.

Never seen a more pathetic political disease like the person of Atiku Abubakar.
Never seen a more undignified character totally bereft of basic human dignity in such a vaunted position.
Can't wait to see him impeached n'his sorry ass dragged to jail.
As for OBJ,it's unfortunate but we still need him for this last phase of transition 2007.Moving against him now will do a lot more harm than good to the volatile situation the country presently finds herself in. We have a date with him come May 29,2007 after the handing-over rites are done with.

in the real sense of it, i believe the senate president won't like his reputation to be ruin, also the rest members in the house of representative. the reaction of this people of integrity will determine where the whole nation is heading to. but with the name and merit that has been given to them since their vehemently refusal of third term i believe they will suprise Nigeria with good judgemen as it stipulated in our consituion.
