I believe he would've won a bit of sympathy if he had simply appeared. Right now he looks like he's got something/a lot to hide. What's the big deal in appearing? They would've simply adjourned till a later date and he'll have a bit of respite and not have to even appear again for the rest of the trial. WTF? ?

Why do they need his presence to proceed?

Is he above the law? Or does he have two heads? ?

No. Neither is the law special for Saraki. So why can't they proceed in the absence of Saraki?

Why can't he be magnanimous enough to show by example that instead of hiding behind his lawyer and rigmaroling, he as the number one lawmaker in the country has nothing to hide and is not above the law? You sound like his adviser, try and advice him properly next time.

Lol. You are a joker. Of course that doesn't apply here. Everybody and their mom knows Saraki is in town. Face it, he has lost a lot sympathy due to this ill-advised move of not appearing.

One thing after the other. You don't put the cart before the horse. The tribunal needs to properly conduct itself first.

Saraki does not need your sympathy!!He cannot appear before a panel that was not properly constituted!! The tribunal should send the name of their member to the senate for approval.

It applies if the court deems it necessary that the case is too important or urgent to be adjourned. That he is in town is not applicable. He may even be sitting in front of the court building for all I care. This is a legal matter with serious consequences and not a public sympathy process. He is treading carefully just as he should.

Why dont u answer the question first of which it is very simple. It is not that saraki is indisposed or on any other serious ground that can give trial in absencia but he wants to buy time for pepetual injunction. If u are not having skeleton in ur cupboard u have nothing to fear by going to the tribunal. Tunubu was once tried too.
