Nigeria as we all know is one of the power houses of Africa. 35% of Africa's Political base is resident in Nigeria. Nigeria is the second largest economy in Africa after South Africa. the most successful Africans are Nigerians. Most Africans think we fell from Heaven like Oduduwa of the Yoruba land because most of the things we touch turns gold (either by hook or crook or in a good way).

In spite of these, Nigerians are hated. The African foreigners that smile at us when we visit their lands, do so because of the money we have. Our currency seem to be stronger than most African currency in value except for south Africa, Egypt and Kenya. For the rest, re denomination of their currencies have made it seem as if theirs is stronger. But the truth is- the value is the same as the old and meaningless. Its just new wine in an old wine skin and they suffer from hyper inflations. If it were not for our economic dominance, many of them would have driven us out. South Africa has been doing that systematically. Egypt and Kenya are now putting stricter measures to stop us from going there. They don't really need us.

Our crimes:
(1) I don't hate Ibos. Most of my friends are Ibos. In Tanzania, Ibos, I'm sorry to say, go there to kill Albinos for money rituals. In Liberia, They exhume the graves of the dead for the same purpose.

(2) These is general. Many Nigerian in Ghana are into Arm robbery, defrauding ATM machines. One was caught with 250 ATM cards. He goes there at night to withdraw peoples money.

(3) Drug trafficking, 419, and a whole lot of other things I can't mention.

In most of the West African countries I have been to, you won't understand how the hate you as a Nigerian until you live with them. Xenophobia is in place
and people don't trust us.

We have many foreign West African nationals living in Nigeria. When they commit crimes, our law enforcement agents don't make a fuss about it. But let a Nigerian commit a crime in a west African country. Houses of Nigerians are burnt and a lot of other things happen.

We might be strong economically, but lets face fact. Angola ,Uganda, Ghana and some other African countries are soon going to be rich based on their oil find. Once Most of these countries become equals, they will be forced to take measures against Nigerian living in their land.

Ghana is an example. In the sixties, the former Prime Minister, Prof Busia, drove away all Nigerians.

We have approximately 8 million Nigerians residing with our West African Neighbors.

If in their poverty, we are hated, what will happen when they have money.

I strongly believe that the ruling PDP should stop playing politics. They should stop stealing the money meant for the creation of jobs. We should have a national agenda that will draw a framework for national development. I also believe that the EFCC should be empowered to cross boarders to arrest a Nigerian involved in financial crimes.

Our quest for quick and super wealth is too much. Our girls and wives too should stop being over demanding. Many women in other west African states don't see what we see. Their husbands earn equivalent of ten and twenty thousand naira and they are carrying on.

If nothing is done. we will soon become the ancient Rome of Africa
