for a while now, i stopped using shoprite as the acclaimed low prices are not low at all.
if you take the time to check the prices rather than just picking them up out of excitement that you are shopping, you will agree with me.

grocery stores and supermarkets around you seem to be your best bet, rather than drive through hold up, burn fuel and still pay more.
for instance,

grocery stores everywhere sells the big Rice krispies for 1300 naira while shoprite (atleast ikeja) has it listed for 1800 naira
the same old milo refill i get for 1200 was 1400 there.

I understand the cost of running business in such location but it makes no sense paying more for things you can get lesser in your neighborhood.
please share your view and where you get your daily needs.

No doubts their items has always been expensive I think they do that seasonal or rather based on locations I remember shopping and getting less expensive wears at shop rite surulere compared to the hike of price in shoprite lekki.
It always happens like that but at most I think buying items at non popular malls in average locations seems better in prices.
