Law Making Is A Cool Business In Nigeria by pipeewa(m): 1:52pm On Sep 30, 2015 |
Can people who know better kindly school me on this topic. I kind of consider being a member of the senate, House of reps and house of assembly a cool business. -Be rich or borrow, -join a party. -Start spending the cash to some simple minds. -Make your intentions known or the simple minds calling for you to be Senator or honourable even governor. -heed the calls, get a form and start spending more. -during elections do all it takes by crook or cruel -win. -get to the senate and follow what you think appeals to you or just sit down and say "aye" for four years. nobody will penalise you. -re-coup your fundings and repeat the process above after 4yrs. if this is close to the process why do we expect more from our lawmakers then? its business anyways. Why do lawmakers screen people and they dont get screened before being voted in. How do we measure their intelligential capacity. How do we check and hold them accountable. no way. We pay them big and also hand over constituency fund to them without any open budget or accountability. this system of government is too porus joo. Law making is a lucrative profession in Nigeria |
