thorpido: Then why do christians attend church? I have a christian friend here, he stopped going to church about 4years ago, his pastors and other christian friends are condemning him to hell, why is that? Also, how are the people the Church? |

Rilwon:Christianity is more than 'religion'(not many understand that however).Jesus is the Head and Christians the 'body'-the Church. We need to attend a place to fellowship together and that is why we go to a building called 'Church'.The bible says we should not forsake the assembly of the brethren. Your friend who does not go to Church again has not stopped being a Christian but puts himself in a position where his growth may be limited.You need other Christians to function effectively. |
