pparently the dude who warned about the Abuja bombings on his twitter page, few days to the event is not who he seems to be. He used the name Chima Okoro but a check on his gsm caller ID says his real name is Sadiq Hono. Is there no way our security agencies can trace this guy? Like

From an Information Technology Personnel perspective, Getting the persons details via true caller app is not sufficient alone. I can register my sim with another name or open a social media account in another name aside my real name. Getting the true identity of an internet user is not efficient as a user can have multiple identity. But... The Nigeria force, be it army, police, navy or whoever is responsible to do so, can write Twitter and/or any other social media site ChimaOkoro is/was found to be a member. The NG force can request for the user's activity, ip address and probably his/her posts. A profiling on the ip addresses obtained can lead the respective force(s) somewhere. Also, the phone number that is been spread around on social media has multiple identity. While true caller gave the owner's name as Sodiq Hono, someone added it on 2go,, and it gave another name. That confirms my first assertion that profiling him via an app may not be efficient. I hope this gets to the respective quarters and be looked into. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1 Like |
