The 21 names released so far are so underwhelming.

After holding the nation hostage for almost 4 months, i'm disappointed to see the same old political patron system is wholly still in place.

Shame on Fashola, Fayemi, Ngige, Amaechi and the rest of the pack fro not shelving their ambitions for the sake of maintaining the veneer of "change".

They only fought to replace the old power barons with a whole other set that are nothing but a mirror image of the old guard.

I thought we're now in an era where the politicos would take a back seat and allow technocrats to administer the new government.

Even if they're competent and weren't named simply as a pay off for standing by Baba, the long wait is not justifiable.

APC keeps giving PDP enough ammo to sustain Metuh's rapid-fire mouth.

APC is too wrapped up in drama while tempus fugit

1. Drama of changing aso rock guards

2. Drama in NASS

3. Drama over NSA

4. Drama in CCB/CCT

5. Drama over "A Tale of Two Vice Presidents"

6. Drama in unveiling "Schindler's List"

7. Probable drama at screening

Countless other mini series about information, disinformation, and outright misinformation.


Baba needs to keep Tinubu, Atiku and OBJ at arms length, roll up his sleeves and get to work. Time is neither his nor Nigeria's ally.

In 1979, the then senate leader, Abubakar Olusola Saraki who happens to be the father of the current senate president was one of the senantors who screened Audu Ogbe as minister. Thirty six years later Bukola Saraki will be screening the same man his father screened as minister, aren't there young people from Benue state? i am not from benue, but i think this is an error. Its only a mad man who keeps doing same thing and still expects new result.

Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari's ministerial list was read today by senate president Bukola Saraki.

Twenty-one names were on the list, each from a state of the federation. The following states however are yet to get a ministerial position.

It's enshrined in the constitution of Nigeria that a president must appoint at least one minister from each state of the country.

The states yet to get a ministerial appointment are:

1. Abia
2. Adamawa
3. Bauchi
4. Benue
5. Borno
6. Cross River
7. Enugu
8. Imo
9. Jigawa
10. Osun
11. Ondo
12. Sokoto
13. Yobe
14. Zamfara
15. Bayelsa

It's only in Nigeria where a corrupt politician currently undergoing investigation would still be working and reading nomination lists.

Nominating those with various corruption petitions hanging on their necks as well is also one of the attributes of a rotten society with a chronic systemic failure.
