The Yobe State police command said 18 people were killed and eight others seriously wounded in the blasts that occurred in Damaturu Wednesday morning. Police said the injured victims have been taken to hospitals for treatment. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the explosions took place around Ministry of Housing quarters and Buhari Housing Estate in the city.
