Jesus Mythicist Theory hold the view that there never was a flesh-and-blood human, borned of a woman, who walked the earth about 2000 years ago. Contrarily, Jesus was a mythical-spiritual entity who lived in the spirit world and performed all his deeds and misdeeds in the spirit world without ever setting foot on the earth. This view is amply supported by the writings of the early Christians by reading the works of Paul who wrote his words several decades before the literalist invested a flesh&blood Jesus whose life they document in the gospel.

3) Before the gospels gained withspread circulation many Christian Church fathers and bishops appear to lack knowledge of the life of an earthly Jesus.

4) The mythical Jesus created by the gospel writers have essentially copied narratives from the Old Testament and cast Jesus as the main star in their modelling of OT history.

The Yoruba have a diety called Sango. Sango is an axe wield, stormcloud riding, lightening bolt hurling, rain producing, badass warrior of a diety. His characteristics can be found in the dieties of other cultures and nations suggesting that there is something primordial and fundamental about the iconography of Sango.

However when you look closely at the yoruba mythology as well as yoruba history, we learn something interesting. Sango was an historical figure. In fact he was the 4th King of the Oyo empire. Sango's existence is an historical fact. What does this say about the mythological Sango? Why the hell would the yoruba worship an old despotic ancestral king? But most confusing of all, how comes the ritual objects of his worship and the iconography associated with him can be found in the myths and religions of others peoples as far flung away as scandinavia and ancient greece?

There is nothing malicious about Facts. Belief is ignorance. Belief is to ignore the facts, intentionally or ignorantly. If one has to believe, that means he or she does not know , and if one does not know , that is ignorance. Hence, belief is ignorance and religious beliefs without the facts is ignorance.
