In response to @chucksbadt
Your view is a biase one.if you said you went online and found nothing about the company thats totally not true,in your invitation sms the company's name and domain name was clearly spelt(excellifestyleng.com).any one who care to know can check..
I work with excel in the last 6six years and i think am better than a job seeker or an underemployed graduate. And i can say i am a progressive nigerian graduates .i last paid rent to a landlord in 2014 because i stay in my own home today.with excel platform i have gotten personal development and have met captains of conglomerates. Like Dr ibanibio ceo geo fluid.and more who has helped me even outside excel
I have traveled the world for business devolopement training on the company's account and today i am a sales superstar. Am married am a father .at 28..i drive an exotic Lexus GX470
In your write up you said the company premises looks suspicious.graduates should check the website to see the picture of the offices premises, its an ofice complex with unity bank a co occupant and other reputable law chambers there in.
You said the HR requested that you switch off your cell phone.for an open minded fellow i dont see anything suspicious in that. Courtesy demand that your mobile gadget should not be a distraction in an interview. While was that problem.
You mentioned that video was played .you never said tonus here on this portal what the video was about, and if the video added any value to you.
Am here to clear the biase view of CHUCKBADT.l i dont know about the experience of the other graduates here who went to other organisation but i think the organisations should come on line and defend themselves if the are bold and doea nothing shady.i represent EXCEL
you mentioned that you were asked to pay #6000 to be a public speaker(that is absolutely wrong and biase).you should have phrased it the way it was presenttard to u..our firm is a reaource establisment recriuting relationship officer and requires the expertise of business development executives.the company requseted that to curb occupational hazard a preemployment medical screening should bend done.applicant were given the privilege to get a 30days back medical report from any reputable HMO or pay to our medical afiliate healthlink through excel at a subsidised 6000..without being one sided i know applicant had issues with that and some intelligent open minded and smart ones requested that the medicalbdue be deducted from their first pay.which was granted.
However if i think if an entity finds that absord you could communicate with the magament constructively through the company info portal rather dent the image of a multinational in a deffensive approach online.if you think what the company does is anyway shady you could file a law suit or report to to the law enforcement agency.you could be paid so much in the court of law.rather than make a conclusion with no basis.and be less logical.
Nigeria graduates should change a cultural mindset of "go to school ,get a good grades look for job"
Brian tracy said "change your thinking change your life"
Firm can be extorting graduates. But does that make every organisation a scam.
B be careful with false accusation so you dont pay for damages in the court of law
Dont be quick to make distructive criticism when you have never created a job.
Imagine a gradute here sounding babaric"some one head should have been broken"you heard a one sided. Story and you jump into a conclusion.i was wondering the kind of institution you attended or home you are from where you are trained to be violent and take laws intonyour hands.
Some one came on this portal to say we are hungry people..that was rude.i think the administrators of this sites should censors some comment here because that make the site look like a site for boys and not men.
We are not hungry we are independent progressive nigerian youth ,with high cognitive strength and good level of ingenuity.we see oppurtunity while the careful and close minded individuals see problems.
For graduates who will read this thread just to know about excel..you can not seek for knowledge about marriage from a bachellor.

Chucksbadt,
If you can, kindly answer this question: in your insinuative post you said you are an intern with a broadcasting station. Tell me, what is your level of job security?
On an open mind you were offered a platform to change things around you, redirect your life and create your own business. If you were open minded enough, you would have realised that an open cheque was given to you. But u r still so in tune with the old crappy concept of 'oga' and 'subordinate'.
I joined excel barely a month and 2 weeks ago and I can proudly beat my chest and thank God for the day I met Excel. I know the level to which my capacity has been built. I can't begin to appreciate God for the people I've met on this same platform.
You say you an intern, indeed you are. From my stand point, you still have a lot of internship as to the functional ways of our present World.
You are an intern who was given a chance to earn better than your current boss and the best you could do was write crap you probably don't understand yourself.
I on my part, am a managing partner of a company that is into interior finishing, building plans, renovation, maintenance and 3d rendering. So outside of Excel, am my own boss who need not follow anybody's instruction but I met Excel, and knowing I can learn a lot from my leader 'Opeyemi Anifowoshe', I stood by Excel and today, I have income from 2 sources. When you come out to say crap, looking for support from individual whom themselves are masters at swallowing crap without confirmation, take a look at who you are talking about and ask yourself - what does he have that I don't. If you and your ill mannered, head breaking crap talking buddies are in Town, hit us up, come to our appraisal and see how 'REAL' Excel is. The least amongst us can blow your mind in terms of achievements.
As an intern, how much is your salary? We have undergrads amongst us that earn as much as over #120k month. While you talk the talk with no backing, don't ever mouth up to my boss again. Am sure you bare one of those young boys who still live with their parents, when we have young men who pay their own rent, send their younger ones to school and much more. Like they say, ''what you don't know is bigger than you'', and in your own case, 'it will remain bigger than your'.
My name is Williams A. Willie
