Good morning my people.
Please has anyone noticed with me that even the latest and final Update of the INFINIX HOT NOT Lolipop System, has an issue with Ram management.

It easily hibernates most apps like opera and UC browser anytime my running apps are up to 5.

please does anyone have a clue on how to manage if not Fix this issue?

U both need to upgrade to d latest version if u still running on d former, i think d ram management is better now. Version 1009

You'll need to flash again using sptool....
Just use choose firmware upgrade from sp tool and flash and you'll be back on kitkat

You can't do it in a cafe.. Sp tool isn't installed, you launch after you unzip.
You can Google the processes and see what I'm talking about.

Another big harassment is that apps like WhatsApp and BBBM don't have access to background data once terminated from Task Manager unless they're launched again. This is a real pain in the arrss that modifications won't always come in when they happen.

The sad thing is that this complaint has been lodged by many XFans members since Lollipop initial release on Hote Note in early July yet nothing has been done.

The Lolipop is just so fu*ckd up. except for the battery life?, network speed and fast operation and ofcourse the Camera. buh the ram and background Data inability issue is something I just can't endure.

buh am asking again can't I restore from the CWM backup I made? cos I realy cant sit a long nyt again downloading a whole KITKAT ROM OF ABOUT 1gb and more . Any idea please?
Re: Infinix H-note Lolipop by Nobody: 12:27pm On Oct 16, 2015
I think u can,since u already have cwm .

hope u have flash cwm recovery, if no then u have to flash it first before u can restore ur backup...

if I have the cwm recovery, I would have downgraded back...

I can't play my HD games #sad
Re: Infinix H-note Lolipop by Jazzygrafix(m): 1:53pm On Oct 16, 2015
I have philz recovery and it seems nt to be compatible with the Old Kitkat backup. ok then I flashed the old CWM for kitkat and my screen turned into something like a poster colour vintage painting, so I managed to reboot and quickly plug to my pc in download mode and flashed back philz recovery.
I guess the kernel is nt compatible with the old Cwm image for kitkat
Re: Infinix H-note Lolipop by tecnolad(m): 5:41pm On Oct 16, 2015
I performed a rom dump with sp flashtool, and tried flashing but it kept giving error

OK if u have Phil recovery can u restore back? If yes then download the kitkat stock rom and unzip into a folder.. Create it like this SD card /clockworkmod/backup.... Unzip it into the backup folder.. Then boot into recovery and restore backup... See if it will help

I get the idea now... since u need cwm recovery to be able to restore ur ROM...

I believe u have the scatter files... download cwm recovery for your device online, then copy it to a folder where u have the scatter files ... open sp flash tools. load scatter files untick every tick box except recovery ... now u have to load the recovery manually.. move your cursor to the front of the front of the recovery.. I.e where u have that text which locate each file to the folder they are... double click on it and locate the folder where u put your cwm recovery.. then it will show there.. then flash only the recovery, now u have cwm recovery now... unplug your phone and boot into recovery mode and restore your back up since u already have it....

after the whole thing, off it and flash the phone stock recovery.. I.e untick all the box except recovery and make sure it is the recovery and not the cwm recovery this time... flash it and you're done...

I believe u know how to use sp flash tools so no need of telling u when to plug and when to unplug ur phone..

pls don't do a firm ware upgrade if after loading the scatter files all the box are not tick I.e the cache and usrdata are not tick... ur stock ROM must have those files in it before u can do a firmware upgrade... and most stock ROM don't come with it so do the above method.

cos if u do a firmware upgrade when those files are not tick... name brick land

Bro. Stock ROM from Infinix always come with userdata and cache.. But if u have those files missing, don't do a firmware upgrade.

Thanks for the idea Bro. But sorry, ur idea doesn't work that way, Cwm for kitkat kernel is different from that of Lolipop. So to all of you out there facing d same issue, please don't u ever try it, coz u must not be as lucky as I was wen I tried it. It will render ur recovery useless and end u in a bootloop

I finally downgraded. HOW.??
I downloaded stock rom from hovatekk and flashed with SP tool, then I later flashed the Cwm for kitkat. And thereafter did a factory wipe and cache wipe and I am now back.

I never said u should download lollipop cwm bro... I said download cwm recovery for Infinix hot note and flash... we are saying the same thing...

I guess u didn't understand my post....

first since u have the stock ROM, u format your phone with the flash tool or back up and format... then flash cwm recovery and the rest is history...

That's incorrect.
The worst that could happen is you'll get an error 4032.
The phone will only go dead if you interrupt flashing

Userdata and cache are very optional as you know.
The phone will work perfectly with or without flashing them.
