Another candid opinion is that if the review I gave above is not okay. I'll suggest you wait til 2016 as better phone will come out. Or you check out gionee M5

For real Bro, to tell you the truth it only lag a lil bit when you browsing heavy on 3gg. The camera which just 5mp is better in all ways.
So when you are downloading or streaming videos either on YouTube or Modbro, it does it cool and efficient.

I've been using it since March and I must say it has really served me well. About the camera, we all have taste. On kitkat, the camera is not that clear but it's okay. But on lollipop update, it's crystal clear.

It is untrue that the 1gb ram makes it to lag. I used the echo mode under system manager to lock some apps to the temporary memory so that it won't close automatically. Its very very good for multitasking. I hav some heavy HD games installed on it such as Backstab, Asphalt 8, NFS No Limit, the Dark Knight, Nova 3. They all run smoothly without lag.

As per the storage, I don't use my phone storage to keep any file coz I use external SD card. Though one thing is the lollipop update (v5.0.1) pushed by gionee didn't partition the storage well hence low storage space when you try to download from playstore but it doesn't affect the phone in anyway. I had a workaround that. But on the kitkat update, the 8gb storage was well partitioned..

That's my honest review but above all, the phone is a beast on its own. If u still need some other review, I'll drop..

Echo mode is found in M3 lollipop update and works like greenify. Its closes apps in background and keeps the one you needed most working.
