It still surprises me to know that bunkering business still thrives, infact very well in Warri and it environs. The worst part is that this business thrives very close to the Warri refinery and petrochemical company and the deport there. Now this is how the people here operate. They bring in the products from where ever they get it from which I know is illegal(busting of pipeline)in the dead of the night or very early in the morning, then bring it to this location which is their storage facility. Here their buyers which are majorly big trucks like u see in the pix come and buy probably at a reduced rate. The most fascinating fact about all this that this road which this business thrives is one of the most patrolled road here. But sadly the police patrol this road to find out if activities are going on so as to get a cut from those in charge. The truth remains that all the relevant authorities are aware of this activity and from the look of things this will continue to go on for a very long time to come
