there is one major thing i have observed in a wk on my iphone...facebook is the only application using over 2gb+ everyday...initially,i was deleting redundant mails and applications and in a few mins again..i get the message...."low storage"...
that explains how it tends to drain battery life because its constantly running in the background even when u kill the process..
i would try an experiment now...i have older facebook application versions prior to these recent update..i would un-install the new one to try the old stable one as it seems fb has been hit wit a bug..
i advise people not to upgrade now until the issue is resolved

Not just on IOS, Facebook app for android is a well known resource hugging app. The difference for android users is, you can acquire root privileges and install third party apps that will freeze or limit FB processing.. On my device Facebook and Facebook messenger are in permanent hibernation until I call them up. The beauty of open source..

The best thing is to simply access there mobile site regardless of which OS you use..

you are using your android sense too look at iphone. they are not the same thing!!!!

1gb rap dual core cpu is enough for ios to run 5x smotther that and android with 2gb ram 8-core cpu, apple has put so much work and optimisation in thier os and phone for it to have the least problems instead of the best features unlike android manufacturers. iphone could turn out more expensive than android because you pay for the phone plus the os! android is free therefore you pay for only the phone! if you buy an iphone now, you could use it for the next 5 years, iphone 4s released in 2010 got latest ios 9 update. no android phone get updates and support after 2 years, some is even after it has been released. apple believes they make phone for the elite, therefore they have the best support and less issues and make their os very simple and less complex but still achieve everything anyphone can do.

its about how it works

and yes iphone6 is better than galaxy s5, it won best phone last year on phonearena, but im so sure galaxy s6 would win it this year, cos even samsung is begining to think like apple by ditching sd card and making battreys non-removeable.
