I am MTN subscriber and am using MTNTRUTALK+ plan, which charges 11k per second after 5 Naira daily deduction

Recently I noticed that mi Airtime doesn't last as it used to

So yesterday after making a call, I decided to calculate how much I was charged

To mi amazement, it wasn't 11k per second but 20k per second

So I called d customer service to find out if they have done any upward review on mi plan

Guesse what d customer service officer told me?

That NCC ordered them MTN to increase the tariff price.

I asked him how, when did it become d job of NCC to increase d price of making calls

He confidently told me that due to competition in Telecommunications that MTN were ready to reward their customers with even lower calling rates.

Until NCC Ordered them to increase it.
That they sent text to their customers informing dem of d change, that may mi number was mistakenly omitted.

CONCLUSION:
It is either the NCC BOSS on his own is taking dis extra cash

The present government are desperately looking for money to implement their gigantic elections promises

In which case I will be so pissed, cos all our politicians are using call free line from telecommunication companies.

I urge my fellow Naira landers to investigate this and confirm my finding

Let's kick against this cos if we don't
They will soon increase even d price of data,etc without informing us.
