truly you are a muslim. A muslim is a brother to a muslim but an enemy to non - muslim right according to what you posted?. That verse (Quran 9:5) is about the persecutions that Muslims suffered at the hands of the pagans in Mecca, the muslims were not retaliating at the time this verse had been revealed.

In the previous verse, Allah tells the muslims to wait for 4 months and then in verse 5, Allah tells them to fight the unbelievers.

In verse 6, the Muslims were ordered to stop fighting if the infidels surrender and protect them if they seek protection.



Nonetheless, the interpretations found in Tafsir corroborate findings by scientists.

This is the prophet's charter of privileges for christians.
