Current Arsenal Team Lacks Depth and Lustre

Have not been one of the longest supporters of Arsenal, but I can remember been drawn to Arsenal football team by the move of Kanu to Arsenal and the presence of beautiful players like Bergkamp, Henry, Ljunberg, Pires (Oh Pires - miss u), Viera, etc. This era, Arsenal were actually playing well. Wenger then had reacheable dreams and had never lost his head. But look at the current Arsenal crew, they even look like they don't care about we supporters? I still have a sport's paper that actually quoted Wenger saying : "I won'y buy players Fans want"? Isnt that crazy?

Am sure most of you already know where all this is coming from Yesterday, I was mauled over by Manchester United of England? How does a coach "f**king" (I rarely use foul words) explain a 1 - 3 loss at Home(Fly Emirates) when you are already 1 - 0 down after the first leg? Have always been a 100% supporter of Wenger and his ideas, but TODAY i believe it his time for either him or his current Ideas to be changed. He has had his time to experiment. Just thinking about all the time(years) wasted trophyless on some crazy man's ideas makes me frustrated and close to anger.

Let me stop been sentimental and try to be analytical. Arsene Wenger decides to build a new team of youngsters to compete well in all competitions (right?) , lets' try and assume i) experience doesn't matter , ii) Transistioning isn't important. Now we have a youngster team that has Flamini as its defensive midfielder, Senderos at the back(doing averagely okay), Aladiere as part of the strike force(Haven't forgotten his important goal in carlin cup final against chelsea 2 years ago). Now would you imagine allowing all these players go without credible and young replacements Nope. Wenger did the unbelievable SOLD all these players, brought a used Silvestre, and left the other parts blank.

Now i would make a proposal, Arsene Wenger shoud leave. Some players to leave to. And some players should come in. Arsenal should go through some neccesary upheaval. The team would face some turbulence during all of this, but this is the only way the change CAN be made. I for one cannot see Arsene Wenger change overnight his set of ideologies that hasn't got him a Championship Cup in so many years of coaching (imagine a 10 times league and 3/4 times Champ cup holder just next door - and he couldnt learn from him)

For now am going to have to retire my "50 pounds" customised Arsenal Jersey, and watch what the board would do about this painful defeat. I am sure Arsenal Fans are also going through the same pains as me, and I do hope the England Fans would be able to influence a decision. I for one believe there's no point watching any Arsenal game this season again. Why? I cannot forget the Man Utd defeat and the proceedings that lead to this defeat.

Ofcourse, you can reply through comments to this Blog(rightly called Thread). But know that this is just the way I feel and believe me if I had the power I'll just go ahead and implement my suggestions.

Lastly, Manchester United thanks for making me realise the truth. And I wish you good luck in rewriting history (premiership 3 times back-back and champs league cup back-back).

UP GUNNERS, GO cheesy leave WENGER.
