A 50 years old mother of five will be climbing the highest mountain in Africa to rally support for the women and children in the IDP camp across the country. Remi Abere who will turn 50 this November will be undertaking a risky adventure to draw support for women living in the internally displaced camps. According to findings about 3.3million people currently lives in IDP camp across the country.

At age 49, Remi became the oldest Nigerian woman to reach the roof top of Africa, but this year according to her, she will be climbing for a greater course and she will be climbing in company of her five friends who are also women to re-assure all the women in IDP camps that they too can climb out of their current challenges.

While speaking with her, she expressed her heart felt concern for women and children living in IDP camps across the country and she believed they need our support to stay positive, live a healthy life and have access to basic necessity of life.
