President Buhari is begining too let me down.

Any minister not willing to declare assets has an intention to steal, we don't need ministers that are not willing to declare their assets publicly, they are thieves.

You can't sack APC. Thats where the problem lies. grin

Who told you we cannot?

PDP got sacked after 16 years....because the Opposition got itself united.

APC can get sacked if by 2019 they do not perform as expected....and if the Nigerian opposition joins hand together....and works for it.

The problem with Nigerian politicians is that they see politics the same way a group of lads playing football on the village football pitch see it, .....your team is winning and some of the players defect to the winning team, and vice versa.

And even if APC does not get sacked, Nigerians can still maintain pressure on them to do better (and the fall in oil price might as well force their hands properly).

The President and VP never declared assets yet. They gave no values to the property cars and they never told us how much was in the accounts. At least Buharis angels don't want to lie to us.

Of course Fashola won't even try it his value will send APC zombies into the grave.

Let Fashola steal all the money in Bayelsa; at least he won't leave otuoke road in flood like jona left it for you, or Ariaria market or Enugu-Onitsha road cut into two.
Wake up zombie of Anambra; 30yrs ago when sensible Nigerians were shouting about the waste being branded around the nation like jona & co did; where were your wailers then? They were busy collecting money from NPN, if you know what that means because I know you weren't born then but go home & ask questions if they know enough to tell you

Have they said they will not declare at all?As long as they declare to CCB I am ok afterall people like Saraki and Orubebe did not declare their assets publicly and they are being called to question today. Meanwhile as public servants in the past even under the previous administration many of them declared their assets in the past and nobody compelled them to declare their assets publicly.

Maybe they declared it to him in his bedroom since he does not not know the meaning of publicly or maybe he wants PMB to declare it on Nairaland before he is convinced.

So...we sue the CCB to do the job for them.

Since they say that they are only constitutionally bound to declare their assets to the CCB, then the CCB should be made by the Law and the people to declare the assets of the politicians who have spoken publicly.

Freedom of information and all that.

Anyone who objects gets the sack....or we sack APC in 2019.

Welcome to democracy.

The problem is that the masses have been pressurising the wrong people. We put pressure on members of the executive to declare their assets, when we should actually be pressurising the National Assembly to do what they are supposed to do.

The constitution says that the Code of Conduct Bureau should make the assets declaration available to any member of the public that requests for it, but it also says that the CCB should do this in a format that will be prescribed by the National Assembly. The National Assembly has never passed a law to prescribe how the assets declaration forms will be made public.

The president declared his asset publicly you said? Is that so? If they do what the president did, the CCB will pick them up when a different party comes to power.
CCB won't pick those that declare their properly claimed asset whether u state it publicly or just submitting to CCB,it's good u know that, they only go after false or illegally amassed asset which gets stated in the form submitted, whether u choose to declare it public or not.
