An angry mob in Abuja last weekend stripped two women naked for stealing N100,000 from a wine shop at Dutsen Alhaji market, Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
According to reports, the women pretended to buy merchandise from the store. One of the women approached the store owner to distract him, while the other woman opened the drawer and tried to make away with N100,00.00

According to an eyewitness, “She was about to walk away with the money when the shop owner who had seen her raised the alarm which attracted other traders,” the witness said.
The other traders immediately gathered around the women and began to beat them, and strip them of their clothes shortly before the police arrived and took the suspects into custody. However there aren’t any reports that the men who stripped them were arrested.
