@ Val2001

Check out Pavillion hotel in Ikeja,it's 3,000 / 3,500 per night. It's just a standard hotel but with all the functions AC and a good bar

Please don't mind all these people saying Oke Aro, Abule Egba and co. Think they are playing a cruel joke on you
Re: Hotel in Lagos by cooldud62: 11:33am On May 12, 2009

No cruel or kind joke intended lol
Your post is just too funny to me,

its not too difficult to do.

Pavilion Hotel! I had once stayed there with my peeps while still a young lad, i remember mistakenly leaving the water tap open while there was no light and when they put on their gen, water almost filled the whole environment lol. It's a nice place, though we had stayed there early 90s. I think they are on Anifowose in Ikeja, good area and accessible.
Re: Hotel in Lagos by FBS: 10:07am On May 21, 2009
Abule Egba is at least 45 mins drive to Ikeja provided there is no heavy traffic but certainly Agege is closer though I have no idea where Oke-Aro is.

IMHO staying at Ikeja is not a bad idea. . .stayed at one hotel there but can't remember the name. wink
In any case, its closer to the airport though very busy.
Re: Hotel in Lagos by FemiFemo(m): 11:20am On May 21, 2009

@Poster,
Be careful, very very careful. Think about your personal safety first.
As a J.J.C, what protections do you have if (God forbid) something untoward happened to you in the middle of the night in one of these Hotels?

I've heard of cases of "visitors" being mugged just to get their "Dollars an Visa-Passport".

Just think about it, anything can happen in lagos and the less people that know about your itenary and the fact that you "just arrived", the better for your safety!
, and arranging #3000 Hotel on Internet is not one of them!

Worst case, collect names and locations of this Hotels without giving much away, especially "who you are and when you will arrive".

A word they say is enough for the wise.

BTW: Am not trying to scare you, l am just concerned for your safety.

Re: Hotel in Lagos by Iretia(m): 6:02pm On Mar 14, 2011
www.LagosLocation.com –Nigeria’s most innovative online hotel search and booking portal for Lagos announced that over 500 hotel bookings were processed in January and February 2011.

500 hotel online bookings within just 2months is a good result by any standard considering the fact that some few years ago, searching for hotel information in Lagos was quite difficult and tedious. Typically, a guest had to call several hotels one after the other to get their details and compare their prices.
More than 70% of these bookings were from guests visiting Nigeria from abroad with Europe and North America accounting for 32% and 25% respectively.
5% of the guests came from South Africa. An impressive 20% were bookings from guests within Nigeria

LagosLocation.com had processed hotel bookings on for guests staying at Chalon Suites, Tamarin Hotel, Lasal Hotel, Villa Sofia Court, etc

"The guest traffic we are receiving from LagosLocation.com has increased, being listed on LagosLocation.com is good for our business” said Mr Shola Adewale –the General Manager of Villa Sofia Hotel located at Omole Estate

“This figure is a positive sign that online hotel search and booking is gaining popularity with Nigerian internet community. LagosLocation.com will continue to focus on balancing the need to maintain our value proposition with the expectations of providing authentic information about Lagos hotels to Lagos bound travellers,” explained Ireti Ajala, CEO of Spatial Technologies Ltd –the owner of LagosLocation.com.

Victor Akogun -a guest from Canada said, “Thank you for your wonderful website that made it a lot easier to compare hotel prices across Lagos and book directly”

LagosLocation.com is also happy to announce that more hotels from Egbe, Igando, Ikotun, Egbeda, etc are now listed. This is to ensure that users are presented with more choices when booking their hotels in Lagos.
