Churches paying taxes!

This is what the Fashola administration is considering to do next.

I know this administration needs funds to promote their "new lagos" project but this is absolutely ridiculous!

The idea is to compel churches to spend their revenue on charity which is what they are morally, constituitionally and spiritually meant to be doing. The truth is that it is a criminal offence for preachers to make profit out of church money but this as becom the norm and church memebrs who should speak up against this evil acts are actually the ones justifying it on behalf of the crooks. From what i learnt only churches that are not spending adequately on charity would be made to account for their revenues and andpay taxes if need be. i really thin thisis a good development, at least it would make those demi-gods more accountable and responsible to the poor and needy that they are supposed to spend the money on in the first instance.
