The social Media has suddenly gone agog over Criticism of people who chose to identify with France in this trailing moment in there history. I read has my friends over flogged same issue repeatedly, then i kept asking myself why we have started thinking alike suddenly. It didn't take too long before i got an answer.... Yes! Nigerians become apprehensive when others are recognized even when it no fault of theirs while we do little or nothing about our own situations and still expect same kinda Sympathy. For the first time in the history of FB, it gave an opportunity to sympathise with a disaster but would you blame it? No. When disasters happens in our part of the world, no one cares about who d victims are and what they stand for, noone runs a background check on names of dead victims, mission before termination, All we ever do is a surface routine of counting the corpse as if they meant nothing before exiting. Who is to blame? Every single person who withhold relevant information dat would have made it easy for identification of persons, NEMA who is only concerned abt counting bodies, Lazy Policemen and Journalists who has disregarded investigations and embraced conflicting information as a result of rumour mills. Just maybe if more human angle stories are brought to our notice by d media as to who d victims were and how they relate with same activities we engage in...then our seemly dead feelings will be so awakened in dis country. Terrorism is an act against humanity and irrespective of our conflicting interests, we ought to do the dead the greatest honour by acknowledging they ones were humans and not some item in d market that we could play politics with...For the sake of Being HUMAN We have our challenges as a nation badmouthing others aren't gonna solve ours...all we need do keep showing the world despite our own problems, as Nigerian we are still a happy people sharing love without conditions... Cos as a fact that is what we are. # StopHating # Pray4France # Pray4Nigeria # Pray4dWorld Meanwhile.... # Pray4theNigerianArmy
