i think its just a way of reminding them that if they should do against the law and ethics of the banking industry #steal then they should be ready for what they see there

yes coz even the bible says that if you correct a servant with mere words he will not respond for though he understands...so them seeing it alone speaks a thousand words in a nutshell

During my time with FirstBank it was not a prison tour per se.

As new graduate trainees, we were all transported en mass to Zone 2 Command and had our finger prints and photographs taken.

It was almost like a mug shot. We had not even committed any crime, yet we had visited the police station. grin grin grin

Things we do for jobs in Nigeria.

Unfortunately some innocent, hardworking Bankers have been victims of fraudsters and ended up in Jail for what they know nothing about. Well God dey ooooo.

Just a way of having you catch a glimpse of what might befall you if you get involved in fraud! cheesy

I don't thinkits touring as OP put it but most times bankers visit the prisons to do normal transactions for inmates. Take for instance Port Harcourt federal prisons, bankers come there from time to time to either capture their customers who are inmates, take their signatures for verifications in the banking hall and then withdraw the Inmates monies on their behalf. On another note nobody should pray to be inside the four walls of a prison, its then you realise that liberty is the best gift given to man.

Was at ikoyi prison last year. Not a pleasant sight o. The big boys section looked like nysc camp and they had dstv. The poor man section of the prison looked like hell 50 peeps in a room. Many awaiting trials, 67 wife killers etc

A wise man once said: People say that motivation do not last, well neither does bathing, that's why its recommended daily.
***************************************In oda words, a one day trip to prison cells will not stay LONG in the mind of those bankers, if they don't engage in that trip atleast once monthly, the motivation/sober reflection will wane over time.
