Honestly, I'm so dumb founded..I'm a mother of one who went to a Church at Owerri 2 make inquiry about my son's baptism.. I was shocked when the Rev. Father told me that I much give the church 10 Bags of Cement before registering my son..Pls nairalanders,is this act also practiced in your various churches? I'm not happy at all..

If you weren't religious no one will offer you such bullcrap. Anyway I know you wouldn't mind paying it. The rich always takes from the poor

any church contradicte the teaching in the bible are satanic church.
Galatians 1:9

again: If anybody is preaching to you a
gospel other than what you accepted, let
them be under God's curse!

For what I understand in a catholic church,You don't "pay" a priest for providing a sacrament, you make a donation.

hehehe.. religion sha.. parphaps after bringing the bags of cement then u would be required to also bring 100 blocks to top it.. 😊☺

I sincerely doubt a priest is allowed to make such a request, if one is at the point of death would this be his response? Please I'm guessing that isn't the only catholic church in the city, go to another catholic church, get your son baptized then go back and donate cement if you want to and tell the priest you have already baptized your son.
