The rape story written by blogger Sugabelly will go down in Nigerian history as one of the biggest as said by a victim. Since she wrote her story on her blog, there have been mixed reactions with some alleging that it's a fabricated report. In a related development, former Minister of Education Dr. Oby Ezekwesili has come in defence of Sugabelly in a series of tweets supporting her for exposing the alleged rapists. According to Ezekwesili's tweets, "You mock @sugabelly ? I have just spent time with her Mom. Turned out to be my friend in Undergrad @ UNN. We just cried&cried & WE STAND!!!!WE shall STAND WITH @sugabelly & ensure that all the FACTS are fully established. We owe her& all victims who speak up the little WE CAN DO.WE ALL must be CAREFUL as Nigerians & all try to FIND OUR HUMANITY.
