It's quite disheartening what Nairaland has turned to these days. Given the recent attempt by some broom-waving senators to turn Nigerians to "sai baba" chanting zombies who have no opinion of theirs, except agreeing to every decision or policy of this administration, no matter how clueless it is. i'm beginning to think that the moderators on this forum are of a similar mindset to these senators who are being used by the buhari administration as hatchet men, in a bid to stop Nigerians from criticising and calling attention to the glaring incompetence and cluelessness of his government.
I was banned a couple of days ago by the MOD in politics section for making an innocuous comment devoid of any insult whatsoever. As if that was not enough, i was handed a lengthy ban by the MOD in the jobs/vacancies section just because i had the audacity to ask him to calm down and take easy. This particular MOD has virtually killed the"Shell 2015/2016 recruitment thread. His emotions are all over the place like white on rice. It seems he just started learning how to hide comments.Whoever tells him to get a grip on himself gets a ban and his/her comments hidden.
Logging in today, i discovered that these same bullies had deleted half of all the comments i've made on this forum. I'm totally peeved, but, at the same time not cowed or intimidated by this display of tyranny.
This is the problem with the blackman. He tends to use any power given to him to pursue personal interests and settling vendetta. Why would the MODs ban and hide the comments of an individual just because he/she holds a different opinion or espouses an opinion that they deem to be politically incorrect. This is glaringly evident in the Biafran threads. You'd see the MODs rushing to hide comments that express an inkling of support to the agitation while they do nothing about the comments that insults, ridicules and denigrates the "struggle" and those who champion it. This is TOTALLY unacceptable. Why should a MOD allow his personal bias or prejudice interfere with his job?
This is an infringement on the fundamental right of Nairaland users to air their opinions without fear or favour.
I'm using this medium to call the attention of the owner of this forum to the bullying and blatant abuse of privileges by his moderators who are bent on frustrating and victimising forumites who hold a different opinion from them.

We all claims to want the truth but it takes great maturity and strength of character to handle it.
Now the mods will ban or victimize those that comment on this thread or close it down.
That's why so many people will refuse to comment cuz of the fear of been banned.
As a Mod,u should be fair, unbiased, and devoid of sentiments or prejudice.
Seun this complains has started and if you turn a blind eye to it,it will spark up a revolution against Nairaland and as history as shown, nothing is irreplaceable.Guide and guard your empire.
