These heated exchange almost led to an outburst and confusion at the forum. The President of Ghana, John Mahama and his government were publicly accused by Obasanjo of blackmail and accepting bribes from Nigerian businessmen based in Ghana, buying various properties in South Africa and Nigeria and supporting last year's campaign of Goodluck Jonathan's with 12 million dollars.
