That state is one of the smallest states in the country and it's the home state of the former president (GEJ), yet the result of the election held since Saturday have not been announced officially till now. I thought the PDP would have swept off the whole votes just like they did during the presidential election, but to my amazement the APC is also gathering considerable votes there. I know PDP may eventually emerge winner in the election, but my point is that we Igbos should wake up and stop crying more than the bereaved cos even the bereaved have moved on. Other regions have moved on and have even started integrating themselves into this PMB administration to ensure they remain relevant and not schemed out if things, while some of my people are still holding themselves down and throwing hate speeches here and there. Other region are already preparing for 2019, some are already gearing up for 2023, while my people have failed to arise and shake off GEJ and his failed administration. The Igbos have enjoyed more "juicy" appointments in the past 16 years of this democratic dispensation, yet none of the appointees or elected officials performed exceptional well for us to present him/her as presidential candidate. But look at the likes of Fashola, Fayemi, Kwakwanso, El Rufai, etc they are all potential presidential candidates going forward cos their achievements speak for them. Tell me the achievements of. Orji Uzor Kalu, T.A Orji, Sam Egwu, Chimaroke Nnamani, Mbadinuju, etc.... none of them made a mark in their various states, yet we leave them and keep pointing fingers to other regions and saying they are our problem. I advise we wake up and begin to align ourselves strategically with other region now cos we can never produce a president in this country if we continue like this. While some misguided elements are busy shouting Biafra, and claiming that South south is part of their Biafra, the southsouth have denounced the whole Biafra thing publicly and I understand that just last weekend, Nyesom Wike of River State, named a stadium in River State after Yakubu Gowon. Dis OP needs to visit a psychiatric hospital! D incumbent is leading not because of he has done us good but because of d GEJ factor, as @last week d possibility of PDP winning was less than 50%.
We Ijaws can't watch APC humiliate our son(GEJ) and come to Bayelsa(capital of Izon nation) and humiliate him too.
D history of PDP in d centre, apart 4rm 1999, they've never won Kastina because of the buhari factor.
Dis elections is inconclusive because of the zeal of the people not to sleep and allow APC write Results and announce Sylva d winner.
Bayelsa's situation is a clear case of d devil u know, is better than d angel u don't know. We've seen Sylva b4 now, nothing new 6 Likes 2 Shares |

I doubt the writer is igbo even if he is an igboman he doesn't know his fathers compound because its only a lame man will think that biafran agitation is based on election or personal gain. Before lord lugard came biafra existed even after he departed biafra still existed, even before gej came to political lime light massob existed, radio biafra existed for instance Nnamdi Kanu was made it director in 1989, so biafran agitation doesn't has anything to do with gej. But why is it hard for nigeria to allow Biafra go or is it because they know igbos are the pillars that hold the country but too ashamed to mention it. 2 Likes |

The Ijaws have moved on, the Igbo's refuse to do so, why? because they are the most politically naive people in the Nigeria. Even the Ijaws knows better.
With this attitude, another Ijaw man will become president before the foolish biafran Zombies may learn their lessons. |

/ I sincerely respect the agitation by Igbo people in Nigeria as long as it is not tied to Jonathan who represented the worst mistake a political entity could make in an awkward nation like Nigeria.
Forward ever, backward never. The greatest insult to the Igbo tribe is the unalloyed support they are giving to Jonathan who didn't do anything exceptional for ndi Igbo. 8years in Aso Rock, SE and SS roads are in shambles. No 2nd River Niger bridge. It is bad that an outsider treats you bad, but it is worse when a supposed one of your own could not use the opportunities presented by providence to right the wrongs of the past.
Jonathan should remain a persona-non-grata in all SE and SS regions. |

Uniben4sure: Op you are a bloody paid agent!
The fact is that Igbo's have nothing to regret for not supporting APC and b00hari. We know that b00hari is a bloody tribal cum religious bigot. He has proven that through his actions and inactions since he came to office.
BTW, let me inform you that some of those past PDP governors you mentioned actually worked. I wouldn't know for T.A orji but I can attest to the fact that the duo of Chimaroke Nnamani and Sam Egwu performed while in office.
I am presently in an APC controlled state (Edo) and I know how bad things are here. IMO state is an APC controlled state, yet nothing to show for being under APC leadership in the state. I have been to Osun and Ogun states which are APC states, nothing is working there!
The point is that we should not completely demonize PDP as if APC is any better. Igbo's support PDP because APC failed in most of the states they govern. So, enough of all these senseless talks about Igbo's not moving on and bla bla bla. Igbo's are wise and are not easily moved by propaganda which is what APC is founded on.
Let APC prove themselves better than PDP, then they can get the support of the Igbo's. I rest my case. but he never said igbos have something to regret for not supporting APC. You're the one saying that now. |
