There is no one proper way. The recruiting firm/ company would specify.

even me, I am confused on ds- is it to be typed as a mail message and send or to b attached

Some ATS software find it difficult reading PDF files; even when they do, the actual arrangement becomes distorted.

Ms word (doc not docx) is fine , PDF if specifically requested for.

Even d ms word do change,as in scattered after sending d mail in ms word format ..data if u r using a phone.

Wot if you are ask to send Application letter wit CV.......will the application letter be attached as well or written in the mail box?

The CV and the cover letter should both be attachments. And then you can just write to the HR as an example "Dear hiring manager, please find attached my cover letter and curriculum vitae as regards my application for so and so....." as the body of the mail.

Unless specifically requested by the HR personnel, attach the document and make sure the filename of the CV contains your name_surname or something of that nature. There is a possibility that the HR will save your CV; thus s/he needs an easy reference to look for your CV.

Anyhow specified by the company.

Attached the CV To your email and send it to the required address.

Attachment. Preferably in PDF format. Makes it easier for the person across to download and print.
Don't forget to include the position you applying for in subject line.

Seen some CVS with no subject matter. Mds receive tons of emails and may skip yours.

thank you am applying for my industrial attachment, and my Cv is bn requested can you help me with what is expected in the CV, i already asked google but they are showing foreign samples, i want wat is usable/obtainable in Nig. and i don't hv real life working class friends that can help out. Thank you once more.

A PDF format is better. MsWord could rearranged the text. Then u can add some little words for the HR to find the attached files

Since its IT, am assuming you still in higher institution.
The format should be something like this;
Name -Surname, first name
Date of birth
Contact address
Email/ tel number

Educational background
Primary- dates
Secondary- dates started and ended
University/Poly- start date to present

Places you worked and dates if any

Your goals- two lines of what you want to accomplish and what drives you.

Referees

You may put a cover letter addressed to the MD stating why you want to work with them.

Always send your documents in pdf format unless when specifically requested in another format.
