Fast rising music act, 4larbie within entertainment circles has just released a music single. In preparation of the release of this single, the artiste carried out a market survey, the first ever in Nigeria's music industry.

The survey took the form of a questionnaire containing nine questions about the song. The questionnaire was distributed among five hundred participants within Akoka, Lagos. Three hundred among this number were within the age bracket of 15- 30 years, while the rest were aged above 30. This was done to get opinion that cut accross a wide age bracket.
Members of the artiste's management distributed the questionnaires and collated data. The end result was used for decision making about the single, Big Way.

According to the artiste, a market survey is definitely not out of place in the entertainment industry. In his interview, the artiste said
''Research is important. Before every major invention or breakthrough of a brand in the market, research is always carried out. I see myself as a brand, and the entertainment industry has evolved into a business environment, so i had to take this step. It helped me get direct feedback from listeners and this has guided my decision making and contributed to production immensely''.

This makes 4larbie a pioneer of sorts in the Nigerian music industry.
