Interestingly most religions often tend to assume that prerequisite for the love of God in there lives is only proportional to the religion they practice. You said you found love among them right?...OK all I can say is : there is no law, doctrine, etc against and above love!

Just follow your heart, it will never lead you astray...about the "cult" issue, in my small knowledge of cults, they don't build places of worship, they do all things in hiding, you can't leave once in, they burn candles,say incantations, etc. It's different in ECK. By now am sure you know "ECK" means Holy Spirit, and "ANKAR" means "the way". The ways of the Holy Spirit is dynamic indeed!

The HU is not a function of some Underground effort by ECKANKAR, neither does it belong to them alone. If the truest God exist out there, then the HU exists along side that God. Just like the sun exists out here and no one should claim it's ownership. The HU exists to help Souls like you and I and ANYONE else raise their consciousness into the higher ones, and miracles,protection against the crudest of darkness, solace in times of grief, happiness etc are some of the result of its usage. If all these 'miracle' seekers know of it...perhaps they'll all be using it.

Sounds like an occult. Any congregation with aritual that is supposed to give you certain results is. Chants are typical of occults.

Alot of occultic congregations in Nigeria. I attended this one service in a Nigerian church.
They had an "Angel" of the church that the leaders kept refering to and teaching congregate how to chant to invoke him when in danger. That was the last time I honoured an invite to an unknown church.
