The truth is that Nairaland had a lot of interesting and focused debates in the early days. I was a guest for a long time before I joined but I enjoyed the discussions of mostly matured minds some of whom are no longer here.

Time changes, young people grow, values change and the beat goes on. Seun posted more often then which probably also made a difference. Rapid growth comes with the good, bad and ugly. Also there is a wide generational gap between members so the levels of reasoning and understanding differ.

It shall be well with NL but Seun has a lot of work to do.

Even their godfather on said thread signed on with his current account in 2011 or 2012. His old account which he uses to post p.orn topics, was opened 2007.

Don't mind them jare. They even forget that not everybody on Nairaland visits the Politics section. We have many other active and vibrant sections that are enough to keep people glued to this wonderful forum. They're just exhibiting their addiction. E dey pepper dem for body say the majority of folks, especially those of us that frequent this Politics section, don't really give a fvck about their absence.

Check the date I joined Nairaland, have been very active for years now but this Forum belongs to a friend Seun Osewa he even ban me atimes for days and I don't send him mail to unbanned me. It his Forum, he decide what goes on here and if you ain't satisfy then you can as well get lost. Soldier go soldier come Barrack no move!

They hijacked our commonwealth thread and we took our thread and the banter to a next medium, where folks won't disturb us. We haven't deactivated our accounts and we're all still active on NL, albeit we don't post like we used to do (when we started the commonwealth thread - most of us stopped posting on other threads, anyway). So what has that got to do with the Biafran boycott and all the fvckeries going on NL?

Most of the veterans on this forum joined around 2006 and there was a lot of sanity and intellectual discourse way back, until some cavemen invaded the forum around 2009.

For 3 good years, most posters from SW were not really paying attention to them until 2012 when there was a general call for payback, after calling Seun's attention to all the biles being spewed by the sons of perdition that felt they have seen an avenue to vent their bottled up anger of 1966.

Seun never acted then and we paid them back in their coins in full measures, press down, shaking together and running over.

If seun had done what he is just doing between 2009 and 2012, they will not be here telling him rubbish today. We warned him but he was too naive to act against them then.

Anybody that is not happy with the sanity of NL, can jump inside the deepest part of thr Atlantic Ocean.

My grouse with Seun is we were running a wonderful Yoruba Commonwealth thread and those bastard.s invaded a very sane thread that was growing at the speed of light and you danced to their tune to remove our thread to a more obscured section just for them to be happy, when we were not even discussing anything that relates to them in anyway.

I feel and most guys also felt, that was over indulgence of some clowns on your part and those are parts of the actions that emboldened them to almost hijack your site.

I assume you folks' grouse has more to do with Seun's audacity, in your opinion, of moving the thread from politics a couple of times, and then not letting you run free with your agendas.
