As part of the austerity measures in the country, I would think FG should scrap NYSC now and use our limited resources more economically.
Imagine what an extra 45 billion naira would contribute in directly providing loans/grants to innovators/graduates.
Many my friends after the camp have confessed to me that the NYSC orientation was more of a waste of time.
I don't know where the policy came from that graduates in Nigeria be deprived the opportunity to be employed if they do not provide NYSC certification but I think it's wrong and should be treated equally as against human right.
Waste of time: we have lots of challenges and should face them directly and if you think about it NYSC should be history.
