I am a fan of Tecno phones but I have an issue right now with my C8 that I bought 2 months ago. I observed that the battery has swollen under 2 weeks, so when it gets to 60%, it drains to 0% under 10 minutes and the Middle and the bottom of the touch screen does not respond when tapped.....pls can anyone help me out. The battery is a permanent one.

I don't understand why people don't appreciate good things, tecno is really trying. by the grace of God I have used like 5 different tecno phones Q1, l3, a+, j7 and c8 and I have not regret it. But I can say the same thing about Samsung phones I have used, most especially Samsung galaxy grand prime which I bought at #45,500 dat phone was a hell which I don't want to go back. If tecno want to kill the market dis year, dey should produce c8+ or c9 with 2gig ram den even haters will be dying to have the phone on their palm.

Here in Nigeria, sales figures from 2014 tell a similar story – that TECNO has become Nigeria’s leading smartphone brand, again ahead of Samsung. I have spoken with leading mobile technologist, Emeka Okoye, about the Nigerian smartphone market before. He reiterated this fact again:


Emeka says that for every one device that Samsung sells, TECNO sells two. Sounds amazing.
I wish for the day when statistics will be made public here in Nigeria as is done in other places around the world. Available stats here keep being shrouded in secrecy, something that I believe is detrimental to progress.
