Guus Hiddink Confirmed As Chelsea Manager by mj(m): 3:04pm On Dec 19, 2015
The Dutchman, 69, has been installed in an interim role after Mourinho was sacked following a poor start to the campaign.

Guud Hiddink will take charge of Chelsea until the end of the season, the club has confirmed.

He replaces Jose Mourinho, who was sacked on Thursday with the club languishing in 16th in the Premier League table.

Hiddink has signed a short-term contract, with the club expected to turn their attentions to more viable long-term options Pep Guardiola and Diego Simeone in the summer.

The 69-year-old has been out of a job since being sacked as Netherlands coach in June, following a disastrous second spell with the Oranje.

He returns to Stamford Bridge for his second stint, having taken charge of the club on an interim basis six years ago.

Roman Abramovich installed Hiddink as manager in February 2009 following the sacking of Luiz Felipe Scolari.

He remained in charge until the end of that season, losing just one Premier League match and lifting the FA Cup during his time with the club.

Hiddink said: "I am excited to return to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea is one of the biggest clubs in the world but is not where it should be at the moment. However, I am sure we can all turn this season around.

"I am looking forward to working with the players and staff at this great club and especially renewing my wonderful relationship with the Chelsea fans."

Hiddink will NOT take charge of the side on Saturday afternoon, however, with the club confirming that Steve Holland will be in the hotseat for the game against Sunderland.

Saw that on goal now.

Abrahimovic Should buy enough shares in Manchester United to enable him help them fire Mr. Philosophy Van Gaal..
That man should be fired, arrested, probed and locked for a year or two.
