Did God include Children participation in signs of His adoption of man? Yes.

God demanded it from Abraham: "And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations" Gen.17:12

Jesus said it: "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" Matt.19:14

Peter confirmed it: "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Acts 2:38.

Paul acted in line: "And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying..." Acts 16:15

After the Apostles death it continued : "Baptize first the children, and if they can speak for themselves let them do so. Otherwise, let their parents or other relatives speak for them" Hyppolytus: AD 215

End Time Christians: Do not baptize infants

Ubenedictus:

and this too is moronic right? Dat is d worst excuse i've heard in a long time.

Origen "Every soul that is born
into flesh is soiled by
the filth of wickedness and sin. . .
. In the
Church, baptism is given for the
remission of
sins, and, according to the usage
of the
Church, baptism is given even to
infants. If
there were nothing in infants
which required the remission of
sins and nothing in them
pertinent to forgiveness, the
grace of baptism
would seem
superfluous" (Homilies on
Leviticus 8:3 [A.D. 248]).

Hahahahaha, do i need to school you again on this, You didn't see the part i took care to make bold right? First he addressed those he called to repentance " For the promise is unto you", and then he includes those to whom such is the kingdom of God, but who were born in sin thus "and for your Children".

Not only was it never mention, there are very strong arguments against it namely, absence of the same for the first few centuries of Christianity and also the fact that baptism is for the repenting meaning thinking and comprehending humans which infants are not.

Sola Scriptura is what has steered the body of Christ from Satanism and paganism rot that is the h@rlot of Babylon aka Catholicism
tell me about it, d same sola scriptura steered protestanism into a multitude of contradicting sects.

When last did you make this demonic incantation?

O glorious St. Joseph, you were chosen by God to be the foster father of Jesus, the most pure spouse of Mary ever Virgin, and the head of the holy family. You have been chosen by Christ's Vicar as the heavenly patron and protector of the Church founded by Christ. Therefore it is with great confidence that I implore your powerful assistance for the whole Church on earth. Protect in a special manner, with true fatherly love, the Pope and all bishops and priests in communion with the See of Peter. Be the protector of all who labor for souls amid the trials and tribulations of this life, and grant that all peoples of the world may follow Christ and the Church He founded.

Dear St. Joseph, accept the offering of myself which I now make to you. I dedicate myself to your service, that you may ever be my father, my protector, and my guide in the way of salvation. Obtain for me great purity of heart and a fervent love for the spiritual life. May all my actions, after your example, be directed to the greater glory of God, in union with the divine Heart of Jesus, the immaculate heart of Mary, and your own paternal heart.

Finally, pray for me that I may share in the peace and joy of your holy death."

Does God call infants?

Ans: Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" Matt.19:14

Does this not make salvation hereditary?

Beautiful Prayer, composed by a mind inundated by Divine light. Humbly praying that all peoples of the world may follow Christ; united in his one fold...just as Christ prayed in Jn 17:21 . Asking the help of a potent prayer of (St.Joseph)a righteous man... knowing it availeth much James 5:16. Asking for purity of heart and a fervent love for spiritual life...just as Christ wanted in Matt 5:48.

What do you pray for? The condemnation of Catholics? The burning by fire of Non Christians? The possession of other people's possession? Sorry I'll rather go by that prayer, and to answer you, I just said that prayer; reading from your post. cheesy

There is no biblical definition of a child. Under what ages do we classify one as a child?

You are clinging to this ambiguity to prop infant baptism. A new born is a child, a 15 year old is a child. You are not any smart.
But we know too well infants suckling and all can't possibly COME TO CHRIST. This is sufficient to rule out these from the statement.

Promise of what? Baptism or the holy spirit?

You keep citing lydia's household as an example, you haven't proved to us that toddlers are among the members of that household.

In my household, the last born is 21 years old.

Stop quoting scriptures out of context.

He asks what is the promise, confusing himself with Baptism and Holy Spirit, and I refer him to Gal.3:29 "And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's descendants, heirs according to promise." If you can understand what the promise is here, then you've got your answer.

Ah. In your household, the youngest is 21, that's good to know. However what does that matter to another in whose household the youngest is a minute old? Nothing. Both are households. If Lydia and her household (Acts 16:15), stephanas household (1Cor.1:16), Jailer and his household (Acts16:33) could all be baptized, and the Holy Spirit never mentioned "except infants/children", the same Holy spirit that made sure to be specific in Matt.14:21 "And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children." Then who are you to manufacture that exclusion of children now? It's easy to say the scriptures I pointed you towards are quoted out of contest, don't worry, Martin Luther your father did worse, he called some "straw".

Your argument is out of place, the bible never indicated if an infant was part of that household, but you want to deliberately include it there.Church doctrine and tradition have their own place in the religious system of things. Trying to support church tradition with the bible is like mixing oil and water.

So that's all you could muster? Clinging on Unfounded personal opinion, in the face of solid scripture expose. Not even an attempt to prove any part wrong with same scripture. Bla bla bla, accusers of the brethren.
