llaykorn:
Night falls upon us once more Casting its shroud of silent dread. And when just living seems a chore And you're wishing you were dead.
That there is nowhere left to turn And you think of every promise made. Of all the bridges you had to burn The day dying as the light begins to fade.
Fear creeps slowly into your heart Hidden in the dark corners deep inside. Shown only by way of your art Written into empty words in foolish pride.
But no matter what the story is still the same The fable unchanged and the tale unbroken. The fairy tale now forgotten in you're shame And all the things that must never be spoken.
Thinking of all the smiles that you never shared All the nights that so silently passed you by. You felt lost and lonely in a world that never cared. You were so brave and quiet and by nature shy.
But you hang onto a hope with faith in your wake Even with the sorrow of all the things you left behind. And of a strange journey you never meant to take Through the wilderness looking for a home to find.
A dream to end all dreams something beautiful and new Away from the same old stories you used to tell. Strength forged in pain and all you've been through. To come out smiling through the very fires of hell.
You just want to be happy and live a life worthwhile. The dark and depression might seem like all you are. But I have faith that you will one day find a smile. And wherever you travel now I hope you travel far.

Nice Nice Nice bruh..

In all these dont forget to attach urself to Jesus Christ, the only source of restoration, He will restore all u have lost, especialy, ur hope, peace, joy and happiness.

this poem is rather poor, the only thing going for it is some elements of rhyme, when you have to tell people what the theme is after reading, then you know there's something wrong

Laykorn and long poem sha. You didn't paint the picture clearly. Nice one still.

I agree with you; the poem is quite poor in that sense. I'll pay more attention to that in my subsequent works. Thanks for noticing, Vock.

Since you say the poem is poor, can you tell us the mood the llaykorn used? Okay forget about the mood, just tell us about the rhyme scheme since you acknowledge that the poem is rich in rhyme.

Thanks, and patiently waiting for your reply.
