Whenever I see "happy xmas" I'm always pissed! Really what is xmas?! The annoying thing is even some Christians use the word xmas. I'm not trying to be religious here, but please.... We should be sensitive to some things expecially when it has to do with what we believe in which is JESUS CHRIST, our personal Lord and saviour.
HAPPY Christmas to you all. Jesus is the reason for the season
And don't forget to help and give to the needy, so they can merry too.

Christmas is now a global phenomenon. I can understand why some non-christians (who do not believe in Christ) will spell it as "Xmas" but the christians shouldn't do such!

Xmas is a common abbreviation of the word Christmas. It is sometimes pronounced /ˈɛksməs/, but Xmas, and variants such as Xtemass, originated as handwriting abbreviations for the typical pronunciation /ˈkrɪsməs/. The "X" comes from the Greek letter Chi, which is the first letter of the Greek word Χριστός, which in English is "Christ".[1] The "-mas" part is from the Latin-derived Old English word for Mass,[2]

There is a common belief that the word Xmas stems from a secular attempt to remove the religious tradition from Christmas[3] by taking the "Christ" out of "Christmas", but its use dates back to the 16th century.

When you make a typo ,on a typewriter, and you want to delete it. You 'x' it. When the word Christ,Jesus , God infuriates some people and they want to deal with it, they also 'X' it. That's how you get Xmas!
But the ppl who have d ballz to kick Christ out of the celebration, have no qualms using His name as a swear word!
