The story of a burning house at Akoka this morning is currently on the front page. NewsEveryHour.com also published photos of the house burning which were first shared by a Twitter user @Kingbiodun_Who, but shortly after we published the story, a Newseveryhour.com reader reached out to us saying that the house was actually set ablazed by irate youths who are supposedly friends of a youngman who was just killed.

According to our reader;

"The guy nicknamed 'Macka' who killed someone has done same before and he went to prison for ten years. He stabbed his new victim with knife and also shot him and ran away. So hoodlums went to the place he lives and burnt the house down. It's a bungalow. The victim is was just 17years old."

We actually sent one of our friends who live in the area to confirm and his report was similar to that of the reader. So, it wasn't as if the house accidentally went in flame.
