Since I published my last article on "5 Reasons most do not gain admission despite high Post-UTME Score ( " https://www.nairaland.com/2827772/5-reasons-most-students-not I have been receiving a number of requests from most especially JAMB applicants on right subject combinations for JAMB exam. Some of your subject combinations are wrong e.g Dentistry; it MUST be English,Biology,physics and chemistry..not any science related subject as your post is stating...Secondly, subject combinations esp for the social sciences and Art is sometimes subject to variations as some universities might not accepts some subjects for a particue course..

The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Law;

You require;
Five ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Literature in English and Mathematics.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

1. UNN does not require mathematics
Fine Art or Local languages.

2. UI - requires 5 'O' level Credits passes at one sitting or six ‘O’ level subjects at 2 sitting to include English. Language, Lit-in-English any other subjects from Arts, Social Sciences or Science.

3. UNIUYO, MADONNA, BIU, IMSU and UNIBEN accept a pass in Mathematics.

4. AAU and NAU require a credit in one science subject and one Commercial subject and at least a pass in Mathematics.
5. BSU accepts any other three Arts/Social Science. subjects

6. UNILAG requires the Five O' Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and Lit. in English and one of Arts or Social Science subject.

7. ESUTECH requires credit passes in Mathematics or Science subject.

8. UNIJOS credit pass in Mathematics is not compulsory.


9. OAU requires Five "O" level credit passes to include English Language and Literature in English.

10. ABUAD requires five ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Maths, Literature in English and two other subjects from Arts or Social Science at one sitting.

11. NDU requires five ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Maths, Literature in English and any other two subjects in not more than two sittings.

12. BU - requires five ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Literature in English and three other Arts subjects at not more than two sittings.


13. UMYU requires five credit passes at SSCE(or its equivalent) in English Language, English Literature and any other three Social Science or Arts subject with a pass in Mathematics in not more than two sittings.

14. KSU requires five credit passes at SSCE(or its equivalent) in English Language, English Literature and any other three Sciences, Social Sciences or Arts subjects.

replace crs and commerce... It also depends on the institution.. In Unilag.... The Normal jamb combination is English government economics and maths.... So check the requirements of your institution, it might be different

The latest JAMB subject combination is accessible on JAMB brochure. More courses are added per year, but trust Naija, it's always hard to update the JAMB subject combination databases oh.
