The main problem some people have is their inability to identify the proper answer to a question, for example if you ask a question that: @Binoosmart you are not coming? To some people the right answer to this question will be Yes I’m not coming or no I’m coming which is wrong answer, the answer should be No I’m not coming or yes I'm coming.

To some people its a mistake and to some its an error for example; we were in the Use of English class one evening, a professor call on our professor from outside. so, they were talking about a meeting they wanted to attend together, but my professor later changed his mind that his no more going to the meeting. Out of curiosity the other professor asked; So you mean you are not attending this meeting? guess what my professor said in reply, He said yes, i am not going, any problem.

some of us started laughing while some were wondering what really caused the laughter, so what im actually driving at is this; since a professor could say yes to that type of question, i don't really know what we that are student or that are not professors will do oh.

This is why its not correct; a Negative answer cant go with a positive answer tag like wise Positive answer cant work with Negative answer tag, for your better understanding the answer is Yes the Answer tag should be positive since the answer is positive so the answer tag now will be; i am going hope you understand that. The same thing applicable to the Negative answer No, answer tag; I am not going,
