Some days back my mummy's friend called me that she received a message from her bank and the content was not too clear to her.

On getting there, I glanced through the message which says "In line with CBN directive ..... your ATM card has been deactivated. You are advised to call this number (number withheld) for help."

WE nearly fall a victim because i told her to call the number. After sometimes I tried reasoning it within me that 'can banks use a valid phone number to send message to there customers'?? if possible, Can they ask their customers to call a valid phone number without telling them to visit a nearby branch.

WHO knows they might demand for ATM details after the call is made with them which they will in turns used for their fraudulent act

HELP THE AGED ONES AROUND SO THAT THEY WILL NOT BE A VICTIM
