To all the mothers/fathers in the house,I want to know if this is normal.
I went to visit one of my church members in the house during the festive period.
She's like a big sister to me,married with kids(3) all boys. She called the boys to come and say hi and when they were about leaving she said to them, boys come n kiss mummy. To my surprise they all kissed her, mouth to mouth o.It took the last born like 1 minutes before he stopped kissing he's mum.I was shocked.
She saw it in me that I was surprise and she just said Arugbo ara ni mofi biwon jokingly. Ejo eyin abiamo, nje o normal?

Its normal. She's building up a good mindset for them abt women and how they'll handle their wives in future. The benifit isn't now its when they grow and become men.

That's d way I wanna relate with my daughters too when I marry.

.
Yeah absolutely. My mother was d exact reverse of the lady described in d op. Hers is flogging with nailed plank to bleeding point and starving me for days as punishment. I was only a little boy at tender age and children are fond of mistakes. She was a perfectionist. No one ever seem to get it right b4 her. If not for d repect of a mother sha but I'm not proud of some of her actions and they remain fresh in my memory.

That's a loving mother. I'm surprised that the op is surprised with this level of intimacy. undecided

That behavior is not normal but that doesn't mean that it is somehow morally wrong. It's a foreign culture that some of our people have inculcated. To each his own.
