how can i browse the internet with my iphone?

Before you go on and input settings be sure u are provisioned for internet (especially for zain) and not WAP. or u will be wasting your time

Are you sure your mtn is activated? If yes is there Edge or Wap in your location?

what should i do?

call MTN care line to get ur line activated, after that u can come back here abd get manual config parameters

You can browse using your phone, all you need to do is close to Mr. Infoseye's earlier suggestion, more till you can visit this site: www.BrandNewLaptops..com for assistance.

To browse with MTN and GLO you don't need any configuration mine browse automatically, i ve not tried zain

Mine browses automatically only with MTN.

I have tried both glo and zain, no luck. Although the sim cards browses perfectly with other phone models.

I remember i sent 'settings' to 3888 (MTN) and i got a reply to save the settings that will be sent to me shortly. Well, i didnt recieve any 'settings' from them and the following day i try to open a page and bingo, my nairaland just appeared and since then "the world is in my pocket". I use wi-fi (WLAN, wireless or whatever) in my office.

That's exactly how i sorted out the MTN issue.

I have sent several settings text to GLO, nothing yet.

There is no WAP enabled iPod touch. So that's a FAIL any way.

I know iphone and itouch that novice dont simply know what he is talking about itouch can only browse with wifi network. it has no sim port so how do u configure to browse gsm networks gpsr or wap with so called  "Itouch PHONE"?

All this lies on about browsing with Iphone is a big lie, it usually depend on the type of phone abi is it possible for nokia 1100 to browse even with all the lines combine together with even server itself. so i can say that is depend on the like nokia n series n 70 n 90 and more like 6600 so stop deceiving boz okey bye for na and don't make any attempt of any more llies producers.

foolish you, who have never laid hand on iphone much more knowing its capabilities. iphone is one phone that if you use and have comprehensive knowledge about it u ll never want to use another phone not even nokia n series. by the way this thread is not for argument on iphone its a question of how to browse with iphone.

Just try and reboot it. I just came back from Nigeria and my iPhone wont browse on MTN until I rebooted it. But be ready to top up from time to time as it used up my credit in minutes.
